Inspired by the iconic Overlook Hotel’s carpet choice, this collar’s meticulously tooled & hand-painted pattern will absolutely be the door buster you can’t live without…

The idea came about when an attendee at AnEx 2022 came by the table and pointed out the hex patterned sample swatch I had. They mentioned it was similar to the Shining’s carpet and I realized that I had all the colors and things needed to technically try my hands at it, so I delved straight into the piece once home from con. To whoever you were that came to my table, thank you. You’re freaking awesome!

This one-of-a-kind piece was a serious undertaking for what all went into it, but I’m so damn pleased with the results. The hexagon pattern was made via a stamptool that only had three hex’s on it, meaning a lot of overlap to make sure things stayed even and precise across the entire length. Along with that, the strap was dyed orange before going in with a liner brush and painting each hexagon red. Took a few sessions to get it all done and painted with wrist pain. Well worth it in my honest opinion.
